About

Our Story

An inclusive Jewish community, steeped in tradition, built around people rather than a building.

Our approach is steeped in a rich Jewish tradition and feels wonderfully authentic. It works with people of all backgrounds, and our goal is to inspire fulfilling involvement in a vibrant, multidimensional Jewish life.

Liumi offers unique opportunities to share and enjoy memorable experiences with others, so whether you are coming to meet new friends, renew old relationships, or just feel a true sense of belonging, we create the space for meaningful human connection.

Through engagement, educational and spiritual programs, our commitment is to enrich and deepen each participant's connection, understanding, and relationship to Israel, Jewish values and the Jewish people.

Liumi was founded in loving memory of Norman Plotkin, Nissan Chaim ben Leibel, and we continue to do mitzvot in his memory and in memory of Eugene Sloshay, Yisrael Shalom Ben Binyamin.

Come as you are. Belong as you are.

No pressure. No religious prerequisites. No need to know anyone before you arrive.
