Learn

Jewish wisdom about the things people are actually living through, plus the classes, conversations and writing that carry it.

Learning at Liumi is a conversation rather than a course. There is a weekly class, a twice-weekly group, an evening in a bar, and a steady stream of writing and audio. Start wherever sounds like you.

Torah for Real Life

Jewish wisdom about the things people are actually living through.

Torah at Liumi is not a survey course. It is a conversation about relationships, purpose, loss, health, transitions, aging parents, grown children, reinvention, and the questions that arrive at three in the morning.

You do not need Hebrew. You do not need background. Questions and doubts are welcome, and so is disagreeing with the teacher.

Rabbi Baruch also teaches one-to-one and in small groups throughout the week, for anyone who wants the skills to open a text themselves.

Show Up With Shayndel

A space for meaningful connection, Jewish inspiration, and personal growth. Come as you are and grow together.

Next sessionTuesday, October 20, 202610:00 – 11:00am

Twice a week, a room of adults sits down with Shayndel and talks honestly about life through a Jewish lens, inspired in large part by the teachings of Rabbi Jonathan Sacks.

It is interactive rather than lecture-shaped. People bring what is happening in their week, and the text meets it.

There is also a Zoom option if you are traveling or the drive is long.

Jews & Brews

Men, a drink, and a genuinely relevant argument about the Torah portion. Every other Monday.

Next sessionMonday, October 26, 20267:00pm

No prior knowledge, no dress code, no expectation that you say anything at all on your first night. Rabbi Baruch opens the portion, someone disagrees, and it goes from there.

It runs every other Monday evening at the retreat and has become the way a lot of men in Boca and Delray found their footing here.

Come as you are. Belong as you are.

No pressure. No religious prerequisites. No need to know anyone before you arrive.
